Stone – ST055
An antique sandstone fireplace surround, reclaimed from a late Regency period property in Belfast
Carved from solid blocks of Scrabo sandstone which was quarried near Newtownards (County Down).
The cushion moulded pilasters below bracket corbels, which support the moulded edge shelf, the frieze with the same cushion moulding runs between the corbels.
