Its tall bevelled plate and arched top are framed by richly detailed leaf ornament and beaded mouldings. An elaborate crest features flowers and olive branches, scrolling foliage and urn-shaped finials.

The warm, aged gilt finish retains attractive wear and patina, highlighting the depth of the decoration. A striking mirror for a hallway, drawing room or above a chimneypiece.
