Lutyens-period bolection refers to a specific architectural adaptation of the classic bolection moulding popularized by the renowned British architect Sir Edwin Lutyens (1869–1944). While traditional bolection mouldings originated in the 17th-century Baroque era, Lutyens masterfully re-imagined them during the late 19th and early 20th centuries to bridge the gap between neo-Georgian classicism and modern minimalism.
