An impressive 18th-century Italian fireplace, finely carved from richly figured Rosso Levanto marble

Its deep burgundy, charcoal and plum tones are animated by dramatic white veining, creating a richly decorative surface.

The architectural design features a broad bolection moulded frame supporting a substantial and deep, projecting mantel shelf. Restrained classical detailing allows the exceptional colour and natural movement of the marble to take centre stage.

In wonderful original condition, not over polished.
