Large black marble – 19564
A large and grand antique Victorian period marble fireplace
Made from coloured ‘Northern Breccia’ marble with ‘Mazy’ black marble elements.
Each jamb with two fluted baluster ionic columns, these under corbel brackets supporting a substantial break-fronted mantel shelf.
The fire opening is framed by a gadrooned black marble moulding.
A very well made fireplace surround in wonderful condition.
Circa 1880
