Cast Iron – Ci243
A large and fine example of an antique cast-iron fireplace in the Georgian style of Robert Adam
With full rounded and free standing fluted columns under paterae end-blocks and dentil shelf. The centre tablet with chains of husks upheld by ribbon bows, to either side are anthemion decorated frieze panels.
Complete with original antique ‘hour glass’ shaped Adam style hob basket.
Made by the renowned Coalbrookdale Foundry in Ironbridge, Shropshire, England.
