A fine antique Regency style Statuary marble fire surround
The plain shelf sits above a cushion moulded frieze which is centred by a carved urn tablet. The jambs with panelled pilasters and curved slips are topped with end-blocks profusely carved with flowers and foliage.
Beautifully made in London during the 1840’s from the finest imported Italian Statuary Carrara marble.
