An antique Statuary marble fireplace in the Regency style, with semi precious Sienna and Portoro marble elements

The carved statuary marble pilasters with anthemion detail rests on Portoro marble returns, above the pilasters are end-blocks with Portoro marble ovals. The centre tablet is inlaid with Sienna marble and features a finely carved floral paterae, this flanked by recessed frieze panels, a reeded edge shelf rests on top. 

A very attractive fireplace design, with the clever use of three marbles Sienna, Portoro and Statuary which create a rich and stylish look.
