An antique bronze figure of Lorenzo De Medici, after Michelangelo, inscribed ‘Michel-Ange’
This well made and patinated antique bronze, raised on a green marble plinth depicts ‘Lorenzo de Medici’, a 15th century Italian Statesman and the powerful ruler of the Florentine Republic. He is depicted deep in thought, and is deserving of its nickname “Pensieroso” or “The thoughtful one”. The original by Michelangelo is on the tomb of Lorenzo de Medici in the Chapel of San Lorenzo in Florence. Italian.
A large and highly carved antique English oak fire surround made in the Renaissance revival style
Large in scale and beautifully carved from oak in the Elizabethan Renaissance Revival style. The fireplace features, female terms, two well carved friezes of floral arabesques, masks and mythical creatures. The top cornice shelf with egg and dart, and dentil mouldings.
The fireplace is in great condition and the oak is a lovely honey colour.
An antique mahogany George III period three tier dumb waiter
With three graduated and revolving tiers with moulded tray edge supported by reeded baluster turned columns supported on a tripod base. The cabriole legs with ball and claw feet.

The coloured Portoro marble pilasters are under intricately carved capitals and corbels, the frieze is profusely carved with vines, leaf’s, grapes, foliage, centred by swan, a symbol of purity, elegance, and perfection.
A large one piece break-fronted cornice shelf, carved with leaf work and bead and reel motifs, rests on top.

Very homogenous crystalline marble of a beautiful cheery red ‘Griotte’ with a cloudy structure, shot through with threads of white calcite and other colours.
A fine antique pure white Italian Statuary Carrara marble fire surround from the 1830’s William IV period
Each jamb with two carved scrolled corbels, decorated with acanthus and anthemion motifs. The corbels are on plain pilasters and under a moulded shelf.
Well proportioned, in great condition and a good size.
An antique pair of mahogany George III period corner chairs
The moulded back rail and arm supports over turned pillars and pierced splats. The drop in seat raised on square chamfered legs united by stretchers and corbel brackets.
An antique Victorian period, black and Portoro marble fireplace surround with original tiled insert
The deep moulded edge shelf rests on boldly carved scrolled corbels with shallop shell detail. These are mounted on wide jambs with inset raised and fielded Portoro marble panels. The spandrels of the arches and centre keystone are also inset with Portoro marble.
