Antique Wrought Iron Log or Coal Holder with Removable Liner

A substantial antique wrought iron fireplace fuel holder featuring a rectangular frame with decorative incised uprights, pointed finials and bold scrolling feet. Shaped carrying handles at either end complement the ironwork, while a removable black metal liner provides practical storage for logs, kindling or coal.

The iron has an attractive aged patina, with softly worn highlights emphasising its texture and craftsmanship. Both useful and decorative, this distinctive fireside piece would sit beautifully beside a period fireplace or in a country house interior.
