An attractive antique Italian Venetian carved giltwood mirror 

With a well carved reflexed giltwood frame of laurel arabesques, curled acanthus leaves and flowers, topped with a palmette cartouche.

The original gilding has aged nicely, reviling a warm dark colour.

The original, 19th century bevelled glass has wear consistent with age, but still gives a good reflection.
