A large cast-iron and bronze, Gothic Revival fire basket in the manner of A W N Pugin

The trefoil backplate with rope twist edge and decorative leaf work. The chamfered front bars with gothic quatrefoil at centre, these flanked by andirons off upright seated lions, on spiral podiums and holding a bronze shield.
