Mirror – AF182
A large antique painted and carved giltwood mirror in the manner of Francis and John Booker of Dublin
Surmounted by a broken swan neck pediment above a dentil cornice and plain frieze.
The plate mirror with overlaid carved giltwood ornament of laurel leaves, C-scrolls and egg and dart mouldings.
Two bold tapering fluted columns with Corinthian capitals support the break-fronted frieze.
Photographed in original purchased condition, the mirror can be completely gold gilded if preferred.
