An Exceptional Irish George III period white marble mantlepiece with finely carved tablets and inlaid coloured marble panels.

This fine neoclassical antique fireplace of Italian statuary marble is inlaid with Pietra Dura specimens of Sienna, Verde Antico, Spanish Brocatelle and Kilkenny Black.

The classical lidded urn centre tablet is typical of the Darley workshop as are the musician instrument corner blockings.
