An antique French Louis XVI style polychrome painted wooden console table with marble top

The four tapering legs are carved with acanthus, crossed ribbons and garlands of flowers, these terminate on toupee feet. Swags of olive leaves hang over the fluted frieze which has a victory wreath at the centre. The four legs are joined by a X-stretcher frame with flame finial neo-classical urn in the centre.

The slightly recessed and moulded edge top is French Sr Anne’s marble.

This table is in original untouched condition with great patina and time soften colours.
