Coloured French – 19504
An antique French Louis XV Rococo style Rouge De Rance marble fireplace
This wonderful fireplace was made in France during the 19th century out of local and beautifully figured Rance marble. With canted jambs which are panelled and carved with flowers, supporting a serpentine frieze decorated with acanthus scrolls and a remarkable shell in the centre.
