French marble fireplace – 19492
An antique Louis XVI style French mantelpiece in white Statuary marble, with ormolu mounts
The moulded shelf sits above a recessed panelled frieze overlaid with fine ormolu castings in the form of husk swags upheld by ribbons. The sweeping console jambs with flutes and laurel carvings are under floral paterae end blockings.
A stylish fireplace made from the best Statuary Carrara marble and in wonderful original condition.
