A stunning antique French Louis XV Rococo style fireplace carved from Carrara marble
The serpentine shaped panelled frieze is beautifully carved with flowers and foliage emanating from the central scallop shell cartouche. The splayed and carved consoles support a deep and moulded serpentine shelf.
A wonderful fireplace in great condition, unusual to find this style in this large size.
