An antique marble bolection with its original metal insert, in the manner of Charles Rennie Mackintosh
The Verdi Antico bolection surround frames a metal insert which has many characteristics of the Mackintosh Modern Style (British Art Nouveau, Symbolism and Arts and Crafts).
Provenance: Parkgate, Dumfries, Scotland, removed 40 years ago and has been in storage since.
