An Irish antique Regency period statuary marble fireplace surround

The entire fireplace made from the purest and finest Italian statuary Carrara marble. The exquisitely carved centre tablet depicts a woven basket of fruits, grape vines, flowers and foliage, all symbolic of autumn and harvest time. At either side of the centre tablet are reeded frieze panels and acanthus decorated corbels, above convex and reeded pilasters.
