French Mantel -19458
A well carved antique French Louis XVI style Carrara marble mantlepiece
The frieze which steps forward is finely carved with sprays of olive leaves. The fluted and scrolled consoles are also carved with olive leaves upheld by ribbon bows.
Made in France during the 1880’s using a nicely figured Italian Carrara marble.
In great condition.
