An early Georgian style fireplace in white statuary marble

The opening is framed with a robust bolection moulding, on top of the bolection lintel rests a barrel shape frieze with plain projecting tablet. The mantel shelf is a thick moulded cornice which steps forward over the centre tablet.

A very stylish model which would suit a period or contemporary interior.
